Terms of use
Effective 4 November 2026
These terms apply to the Hold the Line app. By using it you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Subscription
- Hold the Line requires a subscription. Both plans, monthly and yearly, start with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- When the trial ends, the plan you chose renews automatically at the price shown in the app before you started, and your Apple Account is charged.
- A subscription renews for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Exercise and health
Some daily orders are physical, such as walking, squats or push-ups. They are general suggestions, not medical advice. Do only what is safe for you, adapt or skip anything that is not, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Talk to a doctor before starting if you have a health condition.
Content
Campaigns retell historical events from the sources listed in the app. Where accounts differ or a story is legend, the app says so. The text, art, design and software of Hold the Line belong to us and are licensed to you for personal use only.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or its server, including by trying to inflate live counts, reverse engineer the service, or disrupt it for others.
Availability
We work to keep the app and the live count running, but we can't promise they will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features, campaigns or these terms. If the terms change, we will update this page and the date above.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
